Its 24 heat-treated spring tines are highly durable and will gently but comprehensively remove any matted grass-clippings (or ‘thatch’) that might be inhibiting your lawn’s growth. Once the surface build-up has been lifted, sunlight, water and air will be able to better penetrate the root network, in turn enabling the grass to flourish.
The Agri-Fab 48″ Spring Tine Dethatcher is fitted with a weight tray that you can ballast, should a deeper working-depth be required. A handy cantilevered transport-handle makes it possible to lift the tines when crossing areas that don’t need dethatching.
